Saturday begins with Bournemouth vs Manchester United at 13:30. As always, the early game is
excluded from the big fantasy tournaments. After that, there are four matches at 16:00. Arsenal vs
Liverpool will be the big game of the night, that starts at 18:30, before Kane & Co finishes the day off.
Top of the line
The teams that are the biggest favorite GW11 are Manchester City and Chelsea. We favor Manchester City
a bit more, as Chelsea are facing Crystal Palace that we think is a little bit stronger than the last
rounds has shown. Fantasy managers should analyze both City and Chelsea.
The last round we pointed to RIYAD MAHREZ (12.3M), and he achieved by scoring the only goal in the
game against Spurs. The Algerian is in excellent form and seems like he won’t be left out of the starting line-up.
His price is still reasonable, in comparison to example SERGIO AGUERO (14.8M). We feel that Mahrez
gives the greatest value of the two. Other exciting fantasy names on City these days are RAHEEM
STERLING (14.4M) and DAVID SILVA (12.9M). Both performed very well versus Spurs. Sterling has
not netted for City since September, but against Spurs, he sure looked like he was gonna score. As City play
on Sunday, there is some factor of risk connected with the team’s line-ups. They have a midweek Champions League
game against Shakhtar three days after the Southampton game, and Pep could rest some players for that reason.
We’re also guessing that the offensive players in Liverpool should be acknowledged once again, even though the opponent
is tough. Arsenal will be tough to beat perhaps, but it is not the most difficult team to
score against. SADIO MANE (11.8M) scored two goals against Cardiff and is maybe the best pick for this round
alongside MOHAMED SALAH (11.6M). The Liverpool striking trio of Salah, Firmino, and Mane has
not been the in the best form so far this campaign, but there are hints that they will perform.
If Crystal Palace can score two goals against “The Gunners”, we must believe that Liverpool can get some goals.
The reasonably priced selection
Watford beat Huddersfield 3-0 on Saturday, and except for the damaging 0-4 loss to Bournemouth,
they have been really well this year. They had one player sent off very early in that big loss, so
the result should be observed with that in mind. Both ROBERTO PEREYRA (8.3M) and GERARD
DEULOFEU (8.0M) have fascinated us. Pereyra is a really good player, that has a strong shot, and
even if his goal this weekend was not among the most memorable ones, he is a class player.
Deulofeu is on the wing that likes to take on defenders head on. On Saturday, he put in an amazing goal after
dribbling past two defenders and shot through a hard angle. The Spaniard has had some difficulties
with injuries and was taken off after 68 minutes, but he may get more and more
playing time for the upcoming weeks. Let’s not forget that even though he never ended up as a star in
Barcelona, he had some incredible games in Milan before that. Not to mention his partnership
with Lukaku in Everton a couple of years ago, where he assisted the striker many times.
Watford is playing away to Newcastle, an opponent far from being in good shape. Anyhow, if you don’t want
attackers from Watford, you should look over there the defenders, as Newcastle really struggle to score.
KIKO FEMENIA (6.6M), ADRIAN MARIAPPA (5.9M) and ADAM MASINA (6.4) are all
good choices, alongside keeper BEN FOSTER (6.5M). Be sure to look at the line-ups before the match, as the
Watford defense is far from determined.
We recommend a trio from Everton as a defense for GW11. They have a pleasant game, hosting Brighton
to Goodison Park. Brighton has only scored three goals on away turfs so far, although some
of those games were against the very tough opponents. Their last victory against Wolves was a bit lucky,
and we consider the idea that Brighton is not really as good as three wins in a row seems to
show. Everton had problems scoring against Crystal Palace in their last home match, but in the end,
won 2-0. Sincerely, we believe that Crystal Palace are better than Brighton as of now. Wingbacks
SEAMUS COLEMAN (8.8M) and LUCAS DIGNE (9.1M) both give attacking potential, while MICHAEL
KEANE (8.1M) is a unique header, who could get lucky on a corner or a free kick. The chance for a
clean sheet should be reasonably good, regardless.
