Style of play
On FanTeam we have three types of formations in our football tournament.
Normal, 11 players plus substitutes (default one)
Formations to choose from: 5-4-1, 5-3-2, 4-3-3, 4-4-2, 4-5-1, 3-5-2, 3-4-3, 5-2-3
Six-A-Side, 6 players plus substitutes (default one)
Formations to choose from: 2-2-1, 2-1-2, 1-2-2
Five-A-Side, 5 players plus substitutes (default one)
Formations to choose from: 2-1-1, 1-2-1, 1-1-2
The formations can all be created in different forms but you need at least one player in every position. In the season-long tournaments, the formats are pretty much the same except more substitutes are usually possible.

How are Substitutes managed?
If your first choice goalie doesn’t play in his match, he will be replaced with the goalkeeper substitute and if by any chance the backup keeper doesn’t play, no substitutions will be made.
For the outfield-players, they will be automatically substituted with the players on the bench if the form is still accurate. For example, if you choose to play a 4-3-3 formation, you will have 1 defender and 2 midfielders on the bench. For example, if your defenders don’t play and all of your benched players, the system will change just two of your defenders on the bench and the best-ranked midfielder.

Transfers
In the multiple-gameweek competitions on FanTeam (tournaments that overlap more than one gameweek), transfers will be allowed. The amount of free transfers may change, but in regular tournaments, you are allowed to make one transfer per gameweek. If you build a private tournament or challenge, then it is possible to pick your own number of free transfers.
Point System
FanTeam gets points for the football players throughout the game with live feeds from the stat provider “sportyman”, during and up until right after each match. The points are handed based on the player’s achievement on the pitch.
Sportyman will check all the stats right after the game before concluding the points. All the points during the games are decided during full-time. Matches that go to extra-time or penalties will only be added for Supercups or play-of-rounds of the World Cup and Champions League.
