Troubling news for Liverpool ahead of Wednesdays Champions League fixture  

In Paris, the City Of Love there has been a lot of concerns regarding injuries on their superstars towards Wednesday’s Champions League fixture against Liverpool.

Some comforting news is now heading the Parisians way as both Kylian Mbappe and Neymar looks to be back for the Champions League game on Parc des Princes.

Head coach Thomas Tuchel hopes that both of the players will join the team on Monday for the preparations towards Wednesday.

There have been significant uncertainties after Neymar’s groin injury when he was on international duty and when Mbappe damaged his shoulder playing for France.

“I am more optimistic than yesterday about Ney and Kylian,” Tuchel said. “They will be able to train on Monday 26th of November.

Paris Saint-Germain now has 14 wins out of 14 league games after Cavani’s goal on Saturday against Toulouse.

Another Brazilian who looks to be on the way back to the pitch after a long-term injury is Dani Alves.

“In theory, he would not play on Wednesday as he has just returned, but if you asked him he would tell you ‘Yes”.

In the last game the two teams met in the Champions League, Liverpool won with 3-2 at Anfield, with a late goal from Roberto Fermino.

The Reds are one point ahead of PSG before this big game and they can secure a place in the knockout stages if they win on Wednesday and if Napoli secures a win against Red Star Belgrade.
