After a record-breaking pricepool over € 11400 last week NBA Super Wednesday is back with a tournament of atleast € 10 000 and it could easily exceed it’s last high. The fun part is you can join the party for as little as € 5!
Fanteam gives us a budget of 75.0 Million to spent for seven players. That means we don’t have to search too much for value plays, but rather focus on the players that are really going to smash.
The slate comes with ten matches, so we have a lot of players to choose from. Don’t know where to get started? Just read on…
Teams to target:
Chicago Bulls – The Bulls arguable drew the best matchup on this slate with the bad defending Wizards. They are expected to score 115 points, which is 8 Points higher than their average score.
Portland Trail Blazers – Matches against the Houston Rockets always have the potential for a huge result if they can stay close.
Nikola Jokic, C, Nuggets (13.7 M)
Jokic absolutely crushes lately. He averages over 50+ fanatasy points over the last four games and he is still affordable at 13.7 M. His matchup against the Hornets isn’t too bad either.
Russel Westbrook, PG, Rockets (12.7 M)
If you want exposure to the Rocket’s star power, Westbrook comes well rested and is way cheaper than his fellow Harden (17.2).
Kyrie Irving, PG, Nets (11.2 M)
Irving is back from injury. While he was expected to be under a minute restriction, he just put up 63.25 in 33 Minutes against the Jazz last night. There is still a chance his volume will be limited in this back to back game, but he definitely has a high upside.
De’Aaron Fox, PG, Kings (11.1 M)
It seems the Pointguard is the position to spent up on this slate. But you don’t want to miss out on Fox. His fantasy point production over the last three games: 44, 56, 60.
C.J. McCollum, SG, Blazers (9.3 M)
McCollum has been a very consistant scorer for the Blazers so far this season and tonight he is in a great spot against the Houston Rockets.
Lauri Markkanen, PF, Bulls (8.6 M)
Markkanen’s results over the last few games hasn’t been great, so me might be a good under-the-radar pick. His matchup against the Wizards is awesome and he is the main scoring threat next to LaVine (12.9 M).
Sekou Doumbouya, SF, Pistons (5.4 M)
If you are looking for a cheap value play Doumbouya might be an option. He’s a regular starter for the Pistons and averages over 30 minutes playing time with some good results.
Injuries to watch:
Anthony Davis (14.9 M) – Should he still be on the sidelines today, LeBron James (15.5 M) could be a must-play. Dwight Howard (6.7 M) would be great value, too.
Kristaps Porzingis (9.5 M)- It seems Porzingis will be back. That could take some usage away from Luca Doncic (16.6 M). Atleast to some degree.
