I wanted to reach out to you personally to inform you on what we are doing behind the scenes here at FanTeam.com to support you, our loyal DFS player, in these uncertain times.
We are monitoring the situation closely regarding COVID-19. Even though it’s sad to see matches and events being postponed on a daily basis, the health and wellbeing of the general public is of course paramount.
We will continue to provide daily fantasy tournaments, bets and our sportsbook offers on matches and events that avoid postponement – however, we want to emphasize that we have changed our game rules slightly regarding cancelled and/or postponed matches, to ensure that you as a user feel safe knowing that our tournaments will be fair and without any uncertainties:
“If a match that is included in the match-collection when the tournament start gets postponed to a date and time that is outside the timeframe for the tournament, the tournament will be cancelled, and all users will receive a full refund.
This is done to make sure that users are not left with players that have no game to play in, and thus receive zero points for them.”
Our season-games are affected too. Premier League have been postponed until 4th of April, and Champions League will most likely be postponed to at least the same date. Our primary goal is to let the tournaments play out, even if it means waiting for results to start coming in. If PL or CL should be cancelled altogether, that would be a different scenario, and we are not going to make a decision on that at this time.
Any upcoming large events such as €500k SCOFF, EURO2020, WCOFB and WCOFH will be decided action points on at a later stage when we have more information.
Please also note that our gameweek 30 Premier League Weekly Monster tournaments will today be cancelled, along with next week’s Champions League tournaments. A full refund will be given to all users that have already entered.
While we have this extraordinary ongoing situation, I want to let you know that the team and I are using this opportunity to focus 100% on improving our products, improving our games & sportsbook, and generally polishing our offerings and services. This way, when things return to normal, FanTeam.com will be better, bigger and more entertaining for you as our valuable user.
