Half way through the bubble season and we are on fire !
NBA Daily Fantasy Preview 03/08
We will present important picks for every slate here in our blog to help you choose your team. Don´t forget to check your standings in the NBA Leaderboard after every contest – are you able to compete with the best?
As always , before we go to our picks , let’s take a look at the winner of yesterday’s slate.
Congratulations to Rannug73
His team had 3 players with less then 10% ownership but with 40+ points and if that is not enought to win you a tournament , then something is wrong !
Players to watch
6 games again for tonight’s 20K Slate , so let’ get to our suggestions immediately.
Check the NBA Fantasy Strategy Guide if you are new to the game.
Ben Simmons – 76ers – 11.8m
Simmons looked good in his new role and position giving us 42.5 points in 39 minutes. I expect him to have a lot of minutes again and also i expect a close game against the Spurs , who are on a back to back but need the wins in order to enter the playoffs.
Ja Morant – Grizzlies – 10.9m
2 games played since the restart and Morant averages 39 minutes and 48.3 points. Every game counts for the Grizzlies and a win against the Pelicans is a must. The game would be fast and exciting and Morant should thrive in that context.
Aaron Holiday – Pacers – 6.7m
With Oladipo most probably out and Brogdon listed as questionable , Holiday will get plenty of minutes again and if he can have 37.75 points against the Sixers , it is very likely to do it against the Wizards . If you want you can play TJ McConnell ( 6.3m ) instead , especially if both Brogdon and Oladipo are out.
DeMar DeRozan – Spurs – 11.8m
Can we skip Shooting Guards for tonight ? Our options look very bad so i will go again with the two – relatively – safe choices. DeRozan has 36 mpg in the Bubble and close to 40 fantasy points. He will not break the slate but he has a safe floor.
Donovan Mitchell – Jazz – 11.4m
Mitchell had a very bad game – as the whole team – against the Thunder ending up with 18.25 points. Because of that , a lot of people will not play him , so i am willing to take a chance on him , hoping for a return in form.
Grayson Allen – Grizzlies – 4.3m
In the 2 games since the restart Allen has 25 minutes per game and 17 fantasy points per game. At the minimum price and against a Pelicans team that plays in a high pace , i will have him in some lineups.
TJ Warren – Pacers – 10.3m
Wrote about Warren 2 days ago , saying how good spot he was on with all the players missing for the Pacers and he delivered with 70.5 points ! I do not think that he can do it again but if there was one opponent that we would do against , that’s the Wizards. A lot of teams will have him tonight and mine will also !
Troy Brown Jr. – Wizards – 7.7m
Brown Jr. is the main focus on this Wizards team and he will get the as many minutes as he can and shoot as much as he can. He could have 19.75 points like he had in the 1st game or 50.5 , like he had yesterday but at 7.7m , i am willing to take that chance.
Antony Davis – Lakers – 14.6m
Davis has not been good in the 2 games since the restart but i am willing to take a chance on him against the Jazz , especially since he averages 1.48 fantasy points per minute against them.
Zion Williamson – Pelicans – 10.5m
This pick is news depended . If we hear before the game that Zion is on minutes restriction again , then i will pass on him because i do not want to pay 10.5m for a player that’s gonna play 20 minutes. If , though , the Pelicans let him free , then i will be all over him.
Markieff Morris – Lakers – 4.3m
Again , i am taking a longshot here but at the minimum price i want to see if Morris will increase his minutes and his production with it. In the first game he had 4 minutes , in the second 11 and 14.5 points , so maybe we will get 20 and 25 points from him tonight ?
Joel Embiid – 76ers – 14.1m
Give me 35 minutes of Embiid any day at any price. I will have tons of him in my lineups.
Steven Adams – Thunder – 8.8m
Adams seems to love playing against the Nuggets , averaging 40.5 fantasy points per game. The Nuggets play big , so Adams will be on the floor for as much as he can and i am hoping that we will get that 5x value out of him.
