What a strange day yesterday. All the popular players were mediocre at best and a handful of surprise players scored a lot of points.

Let’s see yesterday’s winner
Congratulations pandolfo79 !
Well chosing the correct 76ers ( i am looking at you Joel Embiid ) was a good foundation for a winning team. Fun fact : 298 points in the previous 7 competitions would get you 97th , 914th , 107th , 630th , 407th , 21st , 182nd !
Players to watch
5 games for tonight’s 20K main Slate and here are our suggestions.
In addition, check the NBA Fantasy Strategy Guide if you are new to the game.
Damian Lillard – Blazers – 14.8m
At this point , the Blazers have played themselves into the playoff picture. They are interested , they need the win and they need their best player to keep playing like he does in the last games. I am willing to bet that he will and i will have him in a lot of my lineups.
Ricky Rubio – Suns – 10.4m
Rubio falls in the same category as Lillard. His team needs to win , they are playing good basketball right now and they need their best players to step up. He does not have the ceiling that Lillard has but i a safe option , in a very shallow PG pool.
Eric Bledsoe – Bucks – 8.2m
Out of all the Bucks starters , Bledsoe is the one that i think that he will continue to get normal minutes , since he is the one that missed a couple of games in the beginning of the bubble , so they need him to get into game shape. In 24 minutes against the Heat , he had 31 points , so i am h
Devin Booker – Suns – 13.2m
Basically the same reasons that apply to Rubio , apply to Booker also. Tha advantage here is that Booker is a player that can give us 60+ points on any given night.
Gary Trent Jr. – Blazers – 7.5m
You can choose McCollum if you want but i prefer to pay for Lillard and get the discount of Trent Jr. Does not have the quality of McCollum but the minutes are there , the shot attempts also.
Tyler Herro – Heat – 6.9m
Jimmy Butler is out , Goran Dragic is questionable and Kedrick Nunn left the bubble for personal reasons. That leaves the Heat with a shortage of guard options and Herro a prime candidate for us.
Paul George – Clippers – 12.1m
Leonard is sitting out of the game ,so i would use the George in a lot of lineups. Great price and he will get a full run , without Leonard there.
Cameron Johnson – Suns – 7.8m
Johnson is averaging 35 minutes and close to 31 points per game , good for 0.89 points per minute. That’s a great value as he can easily give us 4x points and even close to 5x.
Derrick Jones Jr. – Heat – 5.1m
Jones Jr. is a sneaky value play. When he gets 25+ minutes in a game he is averaging 1 fantasy point per minute. With the injuries the Heat have , i am willing to take a flyer on him.
Antony Davis – Lakers – 14.4m
If Lebron sits out of the game , i will be all over Davis again , hoping that people will avoid him because of the previous bad game that he had. I had him also but i am all for second chances.
Michael Porter Jr. – Nuggets – 10.8m
So after 4 games at 5.9m , suddenly Porter Jr. is at 10.8m , making him little less valuable now. He is in my player pool still but i won’t be all in on him as i was before.
Kyle Kuzma – Lakers – 7.9m
Kuzma is in play for me only if Lebron ( or AD ) miss the game. Otherwise i won’t be using him.
Jusef Nurkic – Blazers – 13.5m
He is averaging 50.3 points per game and 1.52 fantasy points per minute , playing against a Clippers team that has no motivation and no big bodies to cover him.
Mason Plumlee – Nuggets – 5.7m
Coach Malone said that he did not want to use Jokic so much in the previous game , which makes me think that he will other limit him or not play him at all tonight . That would make Plumlee a very intriguing play at 5.7m and with a season average of 1.12 points per minute.
