NHL Daily Showdown Preview 14/08
Firstly, we will present important picks for every slate here in our blog to help you choose your team.
Let’s see the winner of yesterday’s slate
Khan got 1st place ( and the second also ! ) without 1 player playing. Amazing. Having your defenders score goals , helps a lot in NHL DFS as you can see.
Players to watch
Enough with the past though. Let’s dive into the NHL Daily Fantasy Preview 14/08. We have 3 games for tonight’s 3K main Slate but firstly , let me start by saying that you need to be aware of the news close to the start of the games be cause we still do not know the line ups and starting Goalies.
In addition, check the NHL Fantasy Strategy Guide if you are new to the game.
This game has the lowest total , according to Fanteam Sportbook but in any case i expect Markstrom to face a lot of shots here , which will give us a lot of points and i lso think we will get the win!
Braden Holtby – Capitals – 8.5m
I just cannot see the Capitals losing tonight and i beleive their golie is going to be the main reason for that. Just follow the news and make sure who is gonna start.
John Carlson – Capitals -11.9m
John Carlson had two assists in the previous game , continuing the trent for him this season, as he has 60 assists already! Carlson is just overall a stud this season and could continue that into the playoffs .
Miro Heiskanen – Stars – 9.5m
He had 16 points in the previous game , scoring 2 goals and has 3 straight game that he gets at least an assist. I like this numbers and the price.
Erik Gustafsson – Flames – 8.4m
He had a bad game yesterday but prior to that he had 3 straight games with 6+ points. Playing in the 1 power play line helps a lot to his production and i will continue to play him.
Alex Ovechkin – Capitals – 13.5m
He is not playing well lately but we are talking about Alex Ovechkin , a man known to step up when his team needs him and with the Capitals down 0-1 , it is a great time for him to do it.
Elias Pettersson – Canucks -10.4m
He scored a power-play goal in the Canucks’ victory the previous game and now has 4+ points in 7 out of his 8 last games. The game should see a lot of goals aslo , so i am expecting him to pay his value. If you want you can go at Boeser at the same price.
Mathew Barzal – Islanders – 9.5m
Capitals might need to win but Islanders would not go down without a fight and Barzal would make sure of it. Not a steady performer but has scored or assisted in 8 of his 10 last games and his price is very reasonable.
