Ultimately , what got him the 1st place was his defense , getting 44.5 points out of his 3 players and at a low ownership. Great job.
Players to watch
Enough with the past though. Let’s dive into the NHL Daily Fantasy Preview 15/08. We have 4 games for tonight’s 3K main Slate but firstly , let me start by saying that you need to be aware of the news close to the start of the games be cause we still do not know the line ups and starting Goalies.
In addition, check the NHL Fantasy Strategy Guide if you are new to the game.
Joonas Korpisalo – Blue Jackets – 8.9m
While the Blue Jackets aren’t favorites in this matchup , according to Fanteam Sportbook , against Tampa Bay, it is hard to pass up the production that Korpisalo has brought to lineups the past several games. Columbus does allow a lot of shots to get through which helps Korpisalo from a save perspective. He brings extreme upside as he has posted two shutouts during the postseason already and with the form that he is showing, it seems as if he is primed to do all that he can to keep Columbus in this series against Tampa.
Robin Lehner – Golden Knights – 8.8m
He keeps givings 4+ point games , althought the games are high scoring , he gets a lot of saves. I think the games are going to continue in the same way , so we expect at least the same production out of him.
Cale Makar – Avalanche -10.8m
6+ points in 3 out of his last 4 games , Makar is a very good option , even for his price tag , since he is creating a lot of chances in the offensive end also , giving us access to goals and assists points also !
Shea Theodore – Golden Knights – 10.7m
He is expensive but how can we avoid such a good player , in an excellent spot?
Vladislav Gavrikov – Blue Jackets – 9.2m
Playing in the second line , he gets to block a lot of shots and also has a decent shot of his own , giving us the potential of higher scoring. The price is nice and you can fit some of the bigger names in your line up if you end up using him.
Nathan MacKinnon – Avalanche – 11.2m
So far, MacKinnon has a goal and two assists in this series. getting aggresive from the begging of the last game and this is something that we like to see out of him because when he is in his A game , we can expect a lot of points.
Pierre-Luc Dubois – Blue Jackets – 11.1m
He is a part of the best PP unit in the playoffs so far and has 2 straight games of 8+ points. He is a force to be reckoned with and so far Tampa Bay just cannot handle him.
Reilly Smith – Golden Knights – 9.3m
Having 15.5 and 12 points in the 2 games so far , Smith provides an excellent value at 9.3m. Can he keep up this streak? I am willing to pay to find out.
