Firstly, we will present important picks for every slate here in our blog to help you choose your team.
Players to watch
Let’s dive into the NBA Playoffs Daily Showdown: Monday 17/08. We have 4 games for tonight’s 10K main Slate but firstly , let me start by saying that you need to be aware of the news close to the start of the games because a lot of a value can open up then. With that in mind , let’s get to our suggestions.
In addition, check the NBA Fantasy Strategy Guide if you are new to the game.
Luka Doncic – Mavericks – 16.6m
As we have mentioned in the Full series – Clippers vs Mavs 7k [Multi-day event] – Preview, in his last 14 games he has 9 games with 50+ points , 4 with 60+ and 2 with 80+ ! How can you avoid that?
Fred Vanvleet – Raptors – 10.8m
I believe that this is a very low price , for someone that has the potential to score 50+ fantasy points on any night , especially when he will be facing the Nets. Of course , this game has the biggest spread in the Fanteam Sportsbook but i am willing to take a chance on that.
Jamal Murray – Nuggets – 10.5m
The Nuggets will be without Harris and Barton again , so Murray will have as many minutes as he can handle. In case you forgot , he did have 53.5 points against the Jazz a couple of nights ago.
Donovan Mitchell – Jazz – 11.8m
Dropped 58.5 on the Nuggets a couple of nights ago and now he will play without Conley in the lineup , which will make him handle the ball even more.
Caris Lavert – Nets – 11.8m
The Nets have only two players in their current roster , worthy of DFS consideration. Lavert is one of the two.
Jordan Clarkson – Jazz – 7.7m
With Conley out , Clarkson gets to play more and of course gets more opportunities to score. He has an up and down tournament so far but the chance to shine at the playoff stage should get him focused.
Kawhi Leonard – Clippers – 14.1m
I just cannot avoid playing Leonard at the playoffs. He lives for these moments and he will play as long as he has to ( which i am hoping a lot ).
Jayson Tatum – Celtics – 12.1m
I want some exposure on the Celtics side of the game and i am going with Tatum at the Forward position. I think he plays with a chip on his shoulder and that’s always good for DFS.
Tobias Harris – 76ers – 11.4m
He is averaging 38.5 points in the bubble and his minutes are secure. I expect at least a similar production out of him tonight.
Dorian Finney-Smith – Mavericks – 7.7m
Has very high upside ( he already has 2 double doubles in the bubble ) at a very good price.
Pascal Siakam – Raptors – 11.5m
The Nets will try to play fast and i believe this will create a lot of opportunities in the open court for the Raptors , a game very well suited for Siakam. Plus , the Nets have no one to guard him with.
Paul Millsap – Nuggets – 7.5m
Millsap started playing more minutes in the last game , clearly to get in shape for the playoffs. The Nuggets are going to need the savvy veteran and i believe he will have at least a similar production with Porter Jr. Exactly because of that , i am going to take him and save 2.4m in the process.
Marcus Morris Sr. – Clippers – 6.7m
He is a risky play but i am thinking that the Clippers will not want to play Harrell a lot of minutes immediately , so Morris will still see plenty of action. He is a good per minute producer and the Clippers signed him for the playoffs .
Joel Embiid – 76ers – 14.1m
Should be able to play his normal minutes and if he gets into a groove he can give us a huge game. The Celtics do not have anyone to guard him , so all is up to him.
Nikola Jokic – Nuggets – 13.5m
He seems that he cruised through the 8 seeding games and i am hoping that now that the playoffs are starting we will see and devoted Jokic. If his mind is in the game , he can produce a triple double every single night.
Jarrett Allen – Nets – 10.9m
I said it earlier. The Nets are a team with 2 players relevant for DFS. Allen is the second.
