NHL Daily Showdown Preview 19/08 with the best players to watch!
The first round of the playoffs could finish for some teams tonight so I am expecting a lot of action and excitement for tonight.
NHL Daily Showdown Preview 19/08
Firstly, we will present important picks for every slate here in our blog to help you choose your team.
Players to watch
Let’s dive into the NHL Daily Showdown Preview 19/08. We have 3 games in this Slate but as always, let me start by saying that you need to be aware of the news close to the start of the games because we still do not know the line ups and starting Goalies.
In addition, check the NHL Fantasy Strategy Guide if you are new to the game.
Carter Hart – Flyers – 7.5m
Hart projects to have the highest points from the Goalies in the slate and comes at an excellent price. Of course, he will face a lot of shots and I do not expect a clean sheet but I am hoping for a lot of saves and – hopefully – a win.
Philipp Grubauer – Avalanche – 8.9m
Avalanche are the biggest favorite in the slate, according to Fanteam Sportsbook. They are rolling right now and i do not expect that it will change tonight.
Cale Makar – Avalanche – 11.4m
Speaking of Avalanche offense, Makar is a big part of that, even though he is a defender. Four straight games with 6+ points and 1 goal with 4 assists during that time, he is a top defender option.
Samuel Girard – Avalanche – 8.5m
If you don’t want to pay the 11.4m for Makar, you can go, Girard, who is playing in the 2L and the 2PL, plus he is playing close to 20 minutes per game.
Sean Couturier – Flyers – 10.4m
I am gonna take my chances with the Flyers tonight and my top option will be Couturier. I know he has not done much in this series but I think he has been unlucky so far and at one point he will catch a break.
Nathan MacKinnon – Avalanche – 13.4m
I sound like a broken record but we have to roster the player that has the highest chances of scoring multiple times.
Nazem Kadri – Avalanche – 10.6m
You don’t want to pay up for MacKinnon? Draft Kadri and relax. I do not expect 2 goals every game but he is playing extremely well and you cannot ignore that.
