Fulham F.C. Freeroll Event on Fanteam!

To celebrate our partnership with Fulham F.C., we at Fanteam are proud to announce that we are running a free-to-enter tournament for Fulham’s home clash with Aston Villa on Monday night.

The prize for the winner will be a signed Fulham jersey! Enter your 5-a-side team before 17:45 BST on Monday for your chance at the first place prize.

This article will point you in the direction of five Fulham players who could potentially deliver the fantasy points on Monday night that could give you the edge over your rivals…

1 – Aleksandar Mitrović

The first pick is the obvious one – with 26 goals and 3 assists in his 41 Championship appearances last season, Mitrović appears to be Fulham’s most likely source of goals in the current set-up.

He also has a proven Premier League goalscoring pedigree – scoring 11 goals in the league in the 2018/19 season. Being on penalty duty for Fulham, as well as being a regular 90-minute-man makes him arguably the most attractive fantasy asset of the bunch.

2 – Joe Bryan

Joe Bryan could also bring joy to managers including him in their squad for Monday’s 5-a-side tournament, with the potential for both clean sheet points, as well as attacking returns…

Bryan scored two famous goals in Fulham’s playoff final against Brentford, including an incredibly intelligent long range free-kick which caught out the Brentford ‘keeper at his near post.

3 – Tom Cairney

Tom Cairney was a crucial part of the heart of the Fulham midfield in last season’s successful promotion campaign. Whilst his game is about much more than just goals, he did manage 8 goals and 3 assists in the Championship last season.

Another man who often gets the full 90 minutes on the pitch – as a midfielder in Fanteam, it may be worth considering that he may well get a bonus point too if he plays the whole game on Monday night!

4 – Alphonse Areola

After getting the nod to start against Leeds last week, Areola is likely to be the starting GK on Monday night against Villa.

With a proven pedigree having played for the likes of Real Madrid and PSG in his career, Areola is a high quality goalkeeper, and at 0.5 points per save made, and 4 points for a clean sheet, he could be a shroud pick for your teams in what’s expected to be a close-fought match a Craven Cottage.

5 – Kenny Tete

The final pick here is another new signing for Fulham – Right-back Kenny Tete has impressed getting into advanced positions down Fulham’s right flank so far.

Tete holds a similar fantasy appeal to Joe Bryan – with the potential for both clean sheet points and attacking returns in his locker, will he be in your 5-a-side team on Monday?

  • […] FulhamThe newcomers had their 3rd loss in 3 matches. Fulham’s defense seems really weak after conceding at least 3 goals in each of the matches they’ve played. The transition from Championship to the big league seems challenging for the squad, but maybe they’ll follow West Brom’s example and surprise us next week against the poor-form Wolves team.[Do you know the weekly Fulham F.C.
