DEFENSIVE STATS

GOALKEEPERS AND DEFENDERS

The table above gives you an extremely accurate insight towards the chances of keeping a clean sheet each club has. The usual tops are Liverpool and Manchester City, so as you can expect they are the most expensive as they are the most likely to earn points for keeping a clean sheet. Those would be the most viable options if you planned on taking the high road.

A nice way to earn cheap points could be from the likes of Southampton and West Ham. They sit roughly around the middle of the table, so still possess a chance at a clean sheet worth taking. Cresswell (7.9M), Vestergaard (8.0M) and Bertrand (7.5M) are just a few of the defenders who sit at 8.0M and under.

It’s obvious that West Brom and Newcastle will have the cheapest defenders, as their odds are incredibly low at under 5%. However, Arsenal and Crystal Palace will be extremely cheap due to their form recently. Crystal Palace have just been thrashed by Liverpool 7-0 and will look to bounce back, so will give it all they have got to prove themselves. Arsenal just can’t seem to win this season, and against London rivals Chelsea, they will feel that in order to prove they are still a ‘Big 6’ team will need to make statement by winning on Boxing Day.

ATTACKING OPTIONS

Here are the odds for each team to win this game week. Once again at the top sits Manchester City and Liverpool. As usual, this makes them the most expensive, but most likely to score the most points due to weaker opposition. It’s impossible to fill your teams with these players as the budget restricts you from this, so pick wisely who you select for your teams.

I like the look of Wolves this game week. Neto (8.0M) and Podence (7.8M), the cheap Portuguese duo are a great option and are in good form recently having both struck against Chelsea a couple of weeks back. Both under 8.0M, these are brilliant options to further boost your points this week.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

S. Mane (14.6M) – He has endured a relatively slow start to the 20/21 this season in terms of goals, but his on the ball and off the ball play has been up there with the best in the world. A brilliant display against Crystal Palace shows he hasn’t lost his edge and I to score this weekend against 19th place West Brom.

J. Ward-Prowse (9.8M) – He has hit new highs this season in the flying Southampton side. With 4 goals and 3 assists, he has established himself as one of the best midfielders in the league this season and I expect him to continue his form this game week. Hes an expert set piece specialist so is likely to have some positive impact on the match.

D. McGoldrick (6.9M) – He has proved to be in a nice period of good form against Manchester United when he bagged a brace. Everton are without James Rodriguez and Lucas Digne, so that will be sure to remove a hint of confidence from the Toffee’s. This means that if McGoldrick is inpired and firing, he could very well find the net this week.
