We will present important picks for every slate here in our blog to help you choose your team but firstly let’s check out how the NBA Leaderboard works.
The only thing you have to do to participate in the Leaderboards is to play in the Daily NBA contests during the promotional period (25/12 – 7/1).
Here is how the places in the leaderboard will be calculated: The user with the most profit (total winnings minus total buy-ins) of each calendar match day will receive the most points.
The prizes are as you can see below

Players to watch
It is time now to dive into the NBA Daily Showdown €15K [1/14]: Friday 25/12 preview. There are 5 games on the slate, so let’s dive right into them!
High Priced (14.0m-17.0m)
In addition, check the NBA Fantasy Strategy Guide if you are new to the game.
Giannis Antetokounmpo – Bucks – 16.8m
Giannis was not good against the Celtics but again he finished with 57.8 fantasy points.
Tonight, he has a great match up and I fully expect him to bounce back.
My only concern is that this game can blowout, so we will not see a lot of minutes from him, but I believe that he can give us value even in a blowout, so I will stick with him.
Luka Doncic – Mavs – 16.7m
With no Prozingis, you know where the offense of the Mavs is coming from. Sure the matchup against the Lakers is not the easiest but Doncic has proven in multiple games that he is matchup proof and he always plays well in LA.
Anthony Davis – Lakers – 15.8m
Both him and LeBron did not play well against the Clippers but I expect both of them to bounce back tonight. Since LeBron is said to have rolled his ankle, I am going with AD for the game against the Mavericks.
They just cannot defend someone with his size and quality. I expect him to smash tonight and he is one of my favorite spend ups.
Nikola Jokic – Nuggets – 14.5m
Jokic started the season with a triple-double and 75.3 fantasy points! The game against the Clippers is harder than the one with the Kings, but as we saw in the bubble, Jokic cannot be stopped when he is playing focused and energized. The 1st game of the season showed that he is at that level and the loss should keep him motivated.
Mid Priced (9.0m-13.9m)
Kyrie Irving – Nets – 13.8m
Revenge game for Kyrie and a good math up against the Celtics.
Kyrie looked in excellent condition at the premiere and looks to have high usage and a green light to do whatever he wants.
This kind of usage and talent cannot be ignored, especially when we are talking about a revenge narrative.
Brandon Ingram – Pelicans – 12.5m
Ingram had a huge game to start the season, ending up with 65.3 fantasy points!
I really believe in Ingram this season and I will have him as much as I can, especially at this price, which is low because he is playing against the Miami Heat.
Tough game, but as I said before, he is poised for a huge season and should be able to produce regardless of the matchup.
Khris Middleton – Bucks – 11.7m
The same concern that I have with Giannis, applies to Middleton also. The game could be a blowout but I just cannot ignore the potential of a huge game, given the matchup, from one of the league’s top players and especially at this price.
Caris Levert – Nets – 9.6m
Levert managed to score 45.5 fantasy points in 25 minutes against the Warriors and I really liked how he was used by the Nets. If this is going to be the case moving forward then Levert will have a ton of usage and basically, he can do whatever he wants on the court. This celling at this price is not something that we find often and it is something that just cannot be ignored.
Value Plays (4.3m-8.9m)
Dennis Schroder – Lakers – 8.6m
Schroder was the best player for the Lakers against the Clippers and despite being in the starting lineup he had a lot of usage. Don’t know if this will be the case moving forward but until I see something else, he looks like an excellent value at 8.6m.
Jeff Teague – Celtics – 8.6m
Teague is the starting point guard, at least until the return of Kamba Walker. In his first game he had 36.8 fantasy points in 25 minutes.
I don’t expect him to keep up being a 1.5 fantasy points per minutes player but at 8.6m, I cannot ignore a player that is starting.
Donte Divincenzo – Bucks – 7.2m
DiVincenzo was too cheap on yesterday’s slate and he is still priced way too low for someone that is playing 28+ minutes and can produce 30+ fantasy points. Considering that the matchup against the Warriors is a favorable one, I just cannot see how he will not hit value.
Nicolas Batum – Clippers – 5.7m
Morris is still out for the Clippers and Batum will most probably start again for them. If this is the case, at 5.7m, he is a decent value play. I am not that high on him as a fantasy (and basketball) player, but I he is going to be very hard to pass up.
