DEFENSIVE STATS

GOALKEEPERS AND DEFENDERS

Above are this weeks clean sheet odds. As usual, the top is Manchester City, so as you know they will be the most expensive, but also the most likely to get a clean sheet bonus. A Manchester City stack will be amongst the most popular methods this week so you can expect to see a lot of these defenders this week.

Another popular method, and expensive, will be Manchester United and Arsenal. Both have fairly high chances of keeping a clean sheet this week, so will be a good route to some easy points. Manchester United are on great form and will challenge to go top of the league against Burnley, so you would expect their defenders to be on point this week.

Sheffield United are interesting me this week. They never usually have a good chance at a clean sheet, but this week they are up there. Their defenders will be cheap as they are bottom of the league, so even though its a risk, as picking cheap defenders is a risk in itself, it could pay off with some vital clean sheet bonuses!

ATTACKING OPTIONS

The odds for each team to pick up three points this week suggest that once again, Manchester City are the strongest favourites to win their fixture. This further proves that the Man City stack will most likely be the popular choice among many. It does mean that their attackers will be the most expensive, so there is a price to pay for these points.

Tottenham seem to have lower than usual odds of winning, but do not be fooled. I expect them to continue their inspired form and get a win along with a clean sheet. Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son are flying and you can expect them to be on the scoresheet this match. They will still be expensive due to them being likely to have an impact, but its an alternative route to the standard Manchester City route.

Crystal Palace have a low chance of winning this week, but they still possess a lot of attacking talent. Due to this, if you need to fill your team with some cheap options then Wilfried Zaha is perfect. Very cheap and very talented, he is also have a good season, so I expect him to have an impact and reel in some extra points.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

K. De-Bruyne (15.0M) – The obvious option for most, Kevin De-Bruyne. He is one of the best players in the world and recently he has begun to prove that after a small drop in form. I expect him to be back to his best this week. At his best he can score and assist multiple past the worlds elite, so he is also my choice for captain as Manchester City will breeze past Brighton with ease, with KDB at the steering wheel.

C. Wilson (9.0M) – The English striker has been Newcastle’s best player by far this season in his first year with the club. He already has 8 goals and 3 assists in 14 games, which is up their with the best. Newcastle will play Sheffield, who sit at bottom with 0 wins this season and by far the worst defence, so I expect nothing less from Wilson other than to cash in on this and grab a couple of goals.

E. Eze (6.0M) – Eberechi Eze is showing the league how much of a young talent he is. He recently scored one of the goals of the season when he ran through the entire Sheffield team almost and slotted it past the keeper. He has the ability to shine in the Premier League and he is showing that very brightly. 2 goals and 2 assists for the 22 year old in his debut season in the top flight isn’t bad at all, and he is also dirt cheap. A no brainer in my opinion.
