Hello and welcome to Fanteam’s Team of the Week 26! Here I am drafting a team that I think is capable of winning €7500 in the upcoming Weekly Monster.
My team from last week did not very well and it finished 2397. Bad result, but other teams in Small Monster did better – this one was one of the worst actually, but it is an okay situation for the team where you go all-in with lots of differentials – so I’m looking forward to the new Weekly Monster.
The differential tactics is the best one when you don’t have a high bankroll, so that’s what I’m going to play. As I said previously – there is no need to play another way if we are playing a single-entry game.
Team of the Week
The first team I want to play is Spurs. Mourinho got in the trap of bad performances and bad results and there are have been some rumors about Nagelsmann who can replace him. But there is a great chance to improve the situation for the team – Spurs are playing Burnley, Fulham and Palace in the next 3 games. I will go with standard Kane pick and it’s tempting to also get Bale and Ndombele in my lineup. Both were the only shining lights for Spurs in the last games.
Everton is my second team. Southampton has bad results in their last games managing only 1 point in the last 8 games. Moreover, the Saints are mediocre in defending against set-pieces while Everton has good attacking numbers. That’s why I want Digne + Keane in my team. Frenchman has fewer corners and free-kicks than before but still looks good going forward while Keane is always a threat on set-pieces. Also, I want Richarlison in my team who as we saw still remembers how to score goals and will be a good differential option to Calvert-Lewin.
Leicester will be my main attacking side. Arsenal doesn’t convince that they improved all their problems while Foxes are in a good shape. Maddison got a new injury which means we will go with Tielemans + Barnes + Vardy stack. Perez is also looking like a decent differential pick, so he is the one to monitor.
The last two spots in my defense I’ll trust to Wolves – welcome, Patricio and Saiss. Newcastle looks like a team that deserves relegation and without Wilson they are even weaker in the attack – that’s what I want to take advantage of. Captain: Bale who will be backed by Kane (VC).
Join me in the Weekly Monster and let’s have fun!
