Although there will be no Weekly Monster this weekend, the fantasy football action continues in to Gameweek 32 and we’ve a little something up our sleeves for you all.
With 10 Premier League matches spread over 7 days and no Weekly Monster on offer, we’ve created a Premier League Leaderboard for our Gameweek 32 Daily Showdown contests only!
When will the Premier League Leaderboard Challenge on Fanteam take place?
Our Gameweek 32 Daily Showdown Leaderboard Challenge will start at 21:00CET on Friday the 16th of April and ends on the 22nd of April at 23:00CET.
We will have 10 Daily Showdown contests available in the Lobby, which includes contests for each of the 10 Gameweek 32 fixtures.
Only teams entered in the €10 Daily Showdown contests will count towards the Leaderboard. Entries you make in the €2 and €30 contests will not count towards your Leaderboard score.
Prizes for the Premier League Leaderboard
As you can see from the image below, we’re giving away €4,000 in prizes to those FanTeam users that finish in the top 10 on the Leaderboard.
The top 3 will each win a €1,100 ticket to our €500,000 SCOFF (Spring Championship of Fantasy Football) tournament, which takes place in Gameweek’s 37 and 38 and has a first place prize of €100,000.
The remaining 17 places will each win a free ticket to a SCOFF satellite qualifier, and a free ticket to play in fantasy contests on FanTeam.

How the Leaderboard points are calculated
As mentioned above, the only thing you have to do in order to participate in the Leaderboard is to play in any of the Gameweek 32 €10 entry single-match Daily Showdowns on Fanteam, during the promotional dates of 16/4 and 22.4, 2021.
Let’s take a closer look at how your points on the Leaderboard will be calculated.
The user with the most profit (total winnings minus total buy-ins) in each €10 contest will receive the most points (1000). The user with the second-highest profit will score 750, and so on – all the way down to 50th (50 points).
Please see below a full breakdown of the points awarded for each of the top 30 positions in the €10 Daily Showdowns for Gameweek 32.
What will be the scoring format of the Daily Showdown contests?
All single-game Daily Showdown contests in Gameweek 32 will be played in our Pursuit 5 format. If you are new to this format, we have plenty of material to help you get up to speed.
Here are some strategy tips to help you get a better understanding of how Pursuit works:
- How to beat Pursuit 5 – Single Match Contests
- How to beat Pursuit 5 – Single Match Contests with many goals
- How to build my team for a close match, where both teams score
What is Pursuit?
Pursuit is the game format we are using for contests with a low number of matches (single or multiple matches).
In Pursuit, you can choose any player you like, without any budget constraint. However, every player is assigned bonus points, which are added or subtracted to the player’s total points before kick off.
This means that star players can start at a slight disadvantage, while underdogs will give you points right off the bat.
Specifically, for these matches, the single-game mode of Pursuit 5 will be used. This means you can pick any five players from the contest you’re playing in – you even five players for the same team.
You need to also choose a Captain – he will score you double points, and a Vice-Captain that scores 1.5x points.
