FANTEAM PICK’EM JACKPOT 30/04/22 CONTEST

PICK’EM JACKPOT – GO FOR THE BIG PAYDAY!

This week’s Pick’em Jackpot contest is now open! Simply guess all 13 matches correctly to win our jackpot.

FanTeam Pick’em Jackpot contest starts at 15.00pm BST 16.00pm CET on Saturday April 30th

How do I enter the Pick’em Jackpot game? Simple just CLICK HERE and play for as little as €0.08

THE CONTEST

So what is a Pick’em Jackpot? This game is super-simple to play, you can even auto-complete if you just want a pure gamble!

To play simply make a selection of home win, draw, or away win on the coupon shown above. Entering this would cost €0.08. If you get all 13 selections correct and no-one else does, you win the progressive jackpot! 10% of every entry goes towards the jackpot, so it’s always growing.

If you get 10,11, 12 or all 13 correct, you win a share of the various prize pools on offer. If some of the prize groups have no winners, the “dead money” from that round will be carried over to the next coupon.

This week the jackpot is already over €500, and there’s over €100 in the prizepool carried over from last week! Not bad when entries start at €0.08!

Want to increase your chances of a cheeky win? Rather than just 13 straight selections you may want to ‘hedge’. Not sure what to do with Watford vs Burnley? Then you can make two different selections, say home and draw, or even all three! By hedging you create multiple bets, so the cost of entry goes up. More ways to win, but more costly to do so!

SELECTIONS

Here’s a few handy tips that the Fanteam Crew fancy on tomorrow’s coupon…..

ASTON VILLA VS NORWICH

Villa take on a Norwich side who could be the first premiership side relegated this season. The Villains are on a 4 match winning streak against Norwich and I’d look for that to continue here.

Selection: Aston Villa

SOUTHAMPTON VS CRYSTAL PALACE

These 2 sides still have a bit of work to do to ensure premiership survival. Both played out draws in their last outings and I’d look for the same here again. Both clubs offer a mixed bag of results, so I could see a stalemate here. I can also see Southampton putting on a show, especially with the in-form James Ward-Prowse so I will hedge my chances with them also.

Selection: Draw/Southampton

WATFORD VS BURNLEY

A crucial battle at the foot of the table takes place at Vicarage road on Saturday afternoon. While Watford did find the net at the Etihad last time out they have been awful in front of their own fans this season and I only see the same here as Burnley boost their own hopes of survival.

Selection: Burnley

WOLVES VS BRIGHTON

Wolves are still pushing for a top 7 finish while Brighton are still in the hunt for a top half finish. I predict a closely fought contest at Molineux with both sides very good defensively.

Selection: Draw

READING VS WEST BROM

Both these 2 sides probably have an eye on next season already. West Brom have lost 8 of their last 10 league games on the road and only 4 other championship teams have picked up fewer. The mood around the Reading camp is strong at the moment and has been since interim manager Paul Ince got the job, so I’d look for them to nick a result here at home, I don’t know if I trust Reading enough though so will hedge my chances by taking the draw also.

Selection: Reading/Draw

BLACKPOOL VS DERBY COUNTY

Blackpool take on already relegated Derby at Bloomfield Road on Saturday knowing victory will propel them into the top half of the Championship table. Derby have an abysmal away record so I fancy Blackpool to run riot and pick up 3 crucial points.

Selection: Blackpool

COVENTRY CITY VS HUDDERSFIELD TOWN

Huddersfield have already locked up a playoff spot as they look to head back to the Premier League. They are unlikely to take their foot of the gas here against a Coventry team who have nothing to play for and are probably already on their holidays.

Selection: Huddersfield Town

BLACKBURN ROVERS VS BOURNEMOUTH

Should be a fantastic match this one. Bournemouth travel to Ewood Park bidding for automatic promotion, while Blackburn are chasing a playoff place. Playing catch up could see Blackburn throw caution to the wind so I fancy the superior attack to come out on top in this one and only see a Bournemouth win. If Bournemouth have an off day at the back then potentially Blackburn keep their playoff hopes alive, so I will hedge my chances with them also.

Selection: Bournemouth/Blackburn

CARDIFF CITY VS BIRMINGHAM CITY

Cardiff and Birmingham will meet on Saturday in what have been disappointing campaigns. Neither of these 2 are in particular good form but it’s Birmingham who appear to be in the bigger freefall. Birmingham have a woeful away record and have their own fans on their back so I only see this going one way.

Selection: Cardiff City

MILLWALL VS PETERBOROUGH UNITED

Millwall will be hoping they can keep their playoff hopes alive in this one against an already relegated Peterborough team. Millwall possess a strong home record and I’d look for that to continue here against a deflated Posh outfit.

Selection: Millwall

MIDDLESBROUGH VS STOKE CITY

Middlesbrough play host to Stoke knowing that they probably need 2 wins to ensure a playoff spot. Stoke can be a hard team to break down and this match has the markings to be tense. However Boro are masters of grinding out results, so I can see them nicking this and keeping their playoff dreams alive. I will also hedge my chances on this one and select the draw as Stoke could try and spoil the party

Selection: Middlesbrough/Draw

BRISTOL CITY VS HULL CITY

Bristol City and Hull City square off at Ashton Gate on Saturday with not much to play for. Both clubs have been in quite good form in recent weeks and are only separated by 2 points. Bristol City might be eager to put on a show for their fans here so could certainly nick it. With this in mind I will hedge my chances on both the draw and Bristol City win.

Selection: Draw/Bristol City

LEEDS UNITED VS MANCHESTER CITY

Manchester City should expect a hostile welcome to Elland Road on Saturday evening and will want to come away with 3 points, with Liverpool being on their tail. Leeds are deeply involved in this relegation battle still and will want to put on a show in front of their own fans. However City should have to much for them to win this one comfortably.

Selection: Manchester City
