FANTEAM DAILY FANTASY GOLF – AT&T BYRON NELSON DAY 4

MUNOZ REMAINS IN THE LEAD BUT MAJOR WINNERS ARE READY TO POUNCE

AT&T Byron Nelson Championship Sunday! First round leader Sebastian Munoz leads the way at 21 under par but Jordan Spieth is waiting to pounce at 20 under par. Spieth is now the tournament favourite after an excellent day 3 where he gained a ton of strokes from the tee box.

Joaqun Niemann and Justin Thomas are some of the other big names just a few shots back should Munoz slip up. James Hahn who had an excellent week last week at the Wells Fargo Championship nearly matched Munoz day One 60 yesterday with a 61 himself. It was the stand out performance of the day as Hahn climbed 34 spots up the leaderboard and is in a current tie for 4th.

One thing’s for sure a fantastic Championship Sunday awaits us as the tightly packed leaderboard fight to become the 2022 AT&T Byron Nelson Champion.

This tournament has always been low scoring so if golfers are not making birdies/eagles then they are going to find it tough going. Unless the wind gets up 59 is in real play this week so an exciting championship Sunday of golf awaits us.

FanTeam have created a Day 4 AT&T Byron Nelson contest for us to enjoy. €5 buy-in with €800  prize pool. Contests start 15th May, 15.20pm BST 16.20pm CET

Day 4 satellite contests are running side by side with the regular contest and users can enter for €3 and be in with a chance of winning tickets to the PGA Championship monster contest next week!

ROUND 3 STATS

STROKES GAINED ON APPROACH

A big chunk of shots from yesterday come from over 180 yards and with the  birdie fest we saw the players this week will have to be dialed in with the irons as they look to stick it in close if they are going to score this week

  1. James Hahn
  2. Hideki Matsuyama
  3. Scottie Scheffler
  4. Joohyung Kim
  5. KH Lee

STROKES GAINED OFF THE TEE

TPC Craig Ranch features massive fairways so while it’s hard to get in trouble off the tee around this place you can certainly gain an advantage by being long. With it being a low scoring week golfers will need to take advantage of the par 5’s so gaining strokes from the tee is a real advantage.

  1. Jason Kokrak
  2. James Hahn
  3. Jordan Spieth
  4. Ryan Palmer
  5. Dustin Johnson

STROKES GAINED PUTTING

This is a stat that I don’t tend to look at as it can be very hit or miss, however this tournament has turned into the putting contest I expected. With this in mind I have a fairly heavy weight on Bent-grass putting. Not because putting is difficult here, but because you need to putt really well to have any shot of winning.

  1. Seamus Power
  2. Peter Malnati
  3. Michael Thompson
  4. Sebastian Munoz
  5. Joaquin Niemann
