It’s finally here – gameweek 38  and after a long season FanTeam has put on a mouthwatering contest with a €100,000 prize pool and with €10k to first place you are certainly going to need to find those hidden gems.

This is the next in a series of articles in which we will preview two of the Gameweek 38 fixtures with some hints and tips in helping you narrow down your player pool, so without further ado let’s get into it.

KICK OFF  16:00 BST

Nothing on the line here with both clubs securely settled in the middle of the standings you could argue the hammers have a little more incentive as they need to win to leapfrog Manchester United for that sixth Europe League group stages spot but even without a victory European football is secured for next season for the east London side.

Let us begin with the hosts who are finishing the season strongly with two wins from their last three matches so there is no hesitation in starting with Leandro Trossard (9.1m) with two goals and three assists in the last three outings the midfielder is bang in form. Danny Welbeck (8.3m) is also finishing the season strongly averaging over 7 fantasy points a game over his last four matches and looks set to lead the line.

West Ham has also been in good form of late and Jarrod Bowen (9.7m) is an automatic choice with double Fantasy point totals in his last two games he has been absolutely tremendous this season with 12 goals and 17 assists in league play.

Others who warrant a closer look are Michail Antonio (9.2m) and Aaron Cresswell (7.5m) Both look a little overpriced to me but should be lower owned and in a big tournament, you are going to need to be different somewhere.

Prediction – Entertaining game but a 1-1 finish looks likely.

Plenty of fantasy goodness in this match with Spurs needing to win to secure champions league football next season and against already relegated Norwich an away win looks more than likely. Starting with the canaries they just don’t have enough quality to survive in the premier league at present one shining light is Teemu Pukki (6.8m) with 11 goals and 3 assists to his name he’s more than capable of paying off his salary and at the price one goal would be enough. Angus Gunn (5.0m) should start between the sticks and will see plenty of action and at bargain-basement price could be a nice differential.

Spurs will be going all out for a win and it is very hard not to see them score at least twice and with that in mind, the two names that you must start with are Harry Kane (14.3m) and Heung-Min Son (14.6m) between them they have amassed 37 goals and 20 assists thats just an amazing tally. Off course both will be highly owned so if needing to pivot off those how about Dejan Kulusevski (13.8m) the former Juventus man has settled in well at the north London club with 3 goals and 9 assists so at slightly cheaper and at  lower ownership he could pay dividends.

Prediction – Spurs running riot with a 4-1 win.

After finalizing your fantasy lineups why not head over to the sportsbook where there are a host of betting options and why not have a little flutter based on your fantasy teams

So a £20 bet would return £256.40 if both selections are successful

Brighton / West Ham to draw & Norwich / Spurs over 4.5 goals.
