It’s finally here – gameweek 38  and after a long season FanTeam has put on a mouthwatering contest with a €100,000 prize pool and with €10k to first place you are certainly going to need to find those hidden gems.

This is the next in a series of articles in which we will preview two of the Gameweek 38 fixtures with some hints and tips in helping you narrow down your player pool, so without further ado let’s get into it.

Kick Off 16.00BST

Leeds start the day in the relegation zone knowing only points and results going their way will save them. Getting a result will be the hard part against a Brentford side who sit 11th in the table and have posted an impressive 7 victories from their last 10 league games.

The Bees have made a name for themselves in the league this year, starting the season strong by beating Arsenal on the opening day and ending it in a flourish has seen the Bees maintain their status in England’s top league. Ivan Toney ( 9.8M) Is my favouirite Brentford option this week with 12 goals this season and 5 assists. The big forward is a bully up top and I’d fancy him to score here today against an awful Leeds defense that has conceded 78 goals this season.

Others to consider for Brentford  Christian Eriksen (8.2M) and Yoane Wissa (8.7M) who both combined for a goal last time out against Everton.

Leeds have been woeful at the back all year and it’s the reason they find themselves in this position going into this game. It will be interesting to see if Patrick Bamford (9.0M) starts and if he does he is most certainly an option. My favourite Leeds option is Raphinha (9.5M) who has had a mixed season by his standards but is easily the most dangerous option for Leeds going forward.

I have zero confidence in Leeds away here but nonetheless they do offer some differential plays to consider including Rodrigo (8.6M) who has 6 goals on the season and Jack Harrison (8.8M) who scored against Watford in gameweek 32 and should see more minutes with an injury ravaged Leeds United.

Summing up this game I think we see a fired up Leeds team and I do fancy them to score but it will end up being in vain as Brentford end the season on a high and send Leeds back to the championship in the process. Brentford 3-1 win is my verdict.

Kick Off 16.00BST

It all comes down to the final day for Burnley but at least for them it’s in their own hands at Turf Moor. All Burnley have to do today is match Leeds score, sounds simple enough right? It was not long ago that this match would have been a 6 pointer in a relegation battle but Newcastle have dragged themselves away from the drop zone and will be preparing for a mega spend in the summer, as they look for European football next season.

A rejuvenated Burnley side are a stubborn outfit especially at home but its 4 games without a clean sheet for the clarets who have struggled for goals with only Norwich scoring less. My favourite Burnley option is Maxwell Cornet (9.4M) who has a goal and an assist in his last 3 games.

Others to consider for Burnley Josh Brownhill (8.5M) who scored against Watford in gameweek 35 and if you really want to get differential and fancy a Burnley clean sheet Nick Pope (8.4M) offers great value and should see plenty of action

Newcastle only have league positions to play for here and don’t have a good away record having not won on the road since March 10th against lowly Norwich, nonetheless they will want to build momentum for a summer of change that’s coming to St James Park. My favourite Newcastle option is Bruno Guimaraes (7.9M) who is massively in form and scored last time out against Arsenal.

Others to consider for the Toon are Kieran Trippier (6.7M) who provided an immediate reaction when he came in January before injury stalled his progress and Frenchman Allan Saint-Maximin (8.8M) who has 6 assists to his name this year and is a consistent threat going forward.

Summing up this game I can see Burnley having a drop sweat but lucky for them I can’t see Leeds getting anything. 1-1 draw is my verdict here.

After finalizing your fantasy lineups why not head over to the sportsbook where there are a host of betting options and why not have a little flutter based on your fantasy teams.

I really fancy that Newcastle Burnley game to be a draw of some sort and only see goals in the Brentford Leeds game so this is my favourite multi bet across these two games.

over 2.5 goals in the Brentford Leeds game and a draw in the Burnley Newcastle game will give us odds of 5.73 and a £20 bet would return £114.60 should it land.
